Pastor Manne Favor
Born in Nigeria, West Africa, Manne accepted Christ at the age of eighteen. After graduating from Bible College with a Bachelors in Theology, he planted his first church in Nigeria. Later he also planted other churches, in The Netherlands and in the USA. Manne was a single father of three young children for seven years.
Rebecca grew up in Springfield, MA. Her family moved to Houston, TX when she was a teen. After finishing high school in Massachusetts, she attended Rice University and obtained a BA in Psychology. She later attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health and obtained a Masters in Public Health and a Doctorate in Public Health.
In the summer of 2015, Manne took a huge step of faith and left his position as lead pastor of a thriving church, in Baltimore, MD, which he had been instrumental in starting. He moved his family to Pearland, TX, driven by the vision of a new church that would invite people from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities into relationship with Christ and into fellowship with one another. This would be the fourth church plant that he would pioneer.
They have become a blended family and their story is a real-life depiction of God's unending love and amazing grace.
